Overview¶
A critical vulnerability has been identified in Splunk Enterprise affecting the PostgreSQL sidecar service. The flaw allows unauthenticated, network-reachable attackers to create or truncate arbitrary files on the host system.

What has been observed?¶
The WASOC has not received any reports of exploitation of this vulnerability on Western Australian Government networks at the time of writing.
