Overview¶
Adobe has released security updates for Adobe Acrobat and Reader for Windows and macOS. Successful exploitation could lead to arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user.

What has been observed?¶
CISA added CVE‑2020‑9715 to its Known Exploited Vulnerabilities (KEV) Catalog on 13 April 2026, which means there is credible evidence of active exploitation in wild. The WASOC has not received any reports of exploitation of this vulnerability on Western Australian Government networks at the time of writing.
Recommendation¶
The WASOC recommends administrators apply the solutions as per vendor instructions to all affected devices within expected timeframes (refer Patch Management):
