Overview¶
A critical security flaw impacting the GNU InetUtils telnet daemon (telnetd) could be exploited by an unauthenticated remote attacker to execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges.

What has been observed?¶
The WASOC has not received any reports of exploitation of this vulnerability on Western Australian Government networks at the time of writing.
