Fortinet Critical Vulnerability - 20260119001¶
Overview¶
Fortinet has released a critical security update for their FortiOS and FortiSwitchManager products. This vulnerability allows a remote, unauthenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code or commands via specially crafted requests.

What has been observed?¶
There has The WA SOC has not received any reports of exploitation of this vulnerability on Western Australian Government networks at the time of writing.
Recommendation¶
The WA SOC recommends administrators apply the solutions as per vendor instructions to all affected devices within expected timeframes (refer Patch Management):
