Overview¶
A critical vulnerability has been identified in React Server Components (RSC) that could allow unauthenticated remote code execution by exploiting a flaw in how React decodes payloads sent to React Server Function endpoints.

What has been observed?¶
Since initial publcation, there has been noted claims of exploitation in the wild for one or more of the above noted items. The WASOC has not received any reports of exploitation of this vulnerability on Western Australian Government networks at the time of writing.

The WASOC recommends administrators apply the solutions as per vendor instructions to all affected devices within expected timeframes (refer Patch Management):
