Mozilla has released security updates to address vulnerabilities in Firefox and Firefox ESR which, if exploited, could give an attacker control of a system.

The updates address a number of high impact vulnerabilities including click jacking and memory safety bugs.

The vulnerability affects the following products:

• Firefox ESR prior to 102.12
• Firefox prior to 114

What has been observed?

There is no evidence of exploitation affecting Western Australian Government networks at the time of publishing

Recommendation

The WA SOC recommends administrators apply the necessary Firefox updates to all affected devices and review Mozilla's security advisories if necessary.
